With the year nearly at an end, I have to say “It’s been a blast”. 2023 has, on the whole, been a good year with the normal ‘ups and downs’ of life. I’ve completed all of the events I planned, had the holidays I planned and hit some financial targets, as well as finishing some DIY stuff around the house.
Next year, I have some similar goals set and will follow the plans to achieve them. They are not all SMART goals, some are a bit ‘loose’ but having them written down reminds me to take action every now and then. I divide my goals into business and personal goals and I really like how they are codependent, if one fails, so does the other!
This is my list of a couple of my headings from my personal things – 2023’s goals:

As you can see, I didn’t complete everything and I had all the usual excuses of running out of time, work getting in the way and, even, I can’t be bothered now! I added to this list throughout the year and adjusted some things, depending on a change of focus or stuff out of my control, but it kept me on track. My DIY list was not very successful and so I am going to work harder to motivate myself more in that area, by picking some low hanging fruit and build my momentum.
I have started my 2024 goal list already, following the same format and getting more specific with certain things. I am stretching myself to fit as much in as I can!
I hope you achieved all, or most, of your goals and that you had more highs than lows throughout the year. Have an amazing Christmas and I trust 2024 brings you all the success you wish for, and work for.
